Welcome 2015!

Hi All–and I’m sure you are thinking. “Oh no, not another narcissistic blog”!  Well, it isn’t–but then again, to some maybe it is. The important thing is that I’m trying to reach out to women of my age range–the average but atypical woman. The woman who wants to bring the mature woman into the limelight but on a reasonable budget!

Life changes can happen at an age when you don’t expect it!  Inching on 60 I find myself faced with the search for a new career–and I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up!  I do know that life is fun. Traveling is always the ultimate adventure–whether traveling domestically or internationally!  Food is the essence of life–I love me a good recipe that I can sink my hands into and make my family happy!

You will be taken on trips through my closet to play with my wardrobe. We’ll talk about beauty issues that affect us as we age (i.e. I have baldness that I have learned to cover with expertise–THAT will be a topic I will cover very soon).  And–I’ll just “tawk” about anything that tickles my fancy or anything that itches it!

Be patient because this blogging is a learning experience for me so buckle up and lets go on a journey…and let me continue to figure this blogging thing out!

Far from perfect, but enjoying life as a non-perfect and flawed individual at 60 years young. I'm still wondering what I'll be when I grow up! The characters in my life's screenplay include my better half. He is a refined Frenchman who grew up in Paris and summered in St. Tropez. I grew up in Long Island and summered in Long Island. I am not refined. My three grown children are also a big part of my life. For their sake, they happily live where their careers have taken them! But I can still mother them from a distance! I write about the mundane. I write about deeply shallow issues. But whatever I write or muse about--it'll always be a bit on the humorous and positive side! It's all good!
