Au Revoir and Oh La La. I’ll Be Back, Fresh and Renewed!

The bags are packed! Well, at least one bag is finally packed! (With the exception of my small carry on—last minute stuff to pack). Fake Tan. Check. Fake hair. Check. (I have my priorities!)

Trust me, this bag has been opened and closed more times than Michelle Duggar’s legs! The packing is done!

The hair is cut and colored and blown out.

Adam did a great job on the hair! It’s even withstanding the stinkin’ humidity!

Got a mani and pedi!

I wanted to bring these Dr. Scholl’s with me but they aren’t broken in yet. I started to blister–but the toes look nice and polished!

We will be bringing Chippy to the dog sitter this evening.

I’m wishing we could take our little buddy!

Our plans for France?

Funny. But I’ve NEVER had a meal like THIS on any flight! Then again, he traveled first class!  My only hope is Air France doesn’t strike any time soon!

Honestly—there are no plans. Bonaparte has to tend to some family business in Paris and we’re just taking things easy!

Hopefully, after about a dozen attempts, I will finally visit Giverny. I’m not expecting anything though!

I’m not making any wagers on visiting Giverny. After all, it’s become a tradition to see what pops up from preventing my visit to this lovely place!

I’ll let Paris be my guide—just hanging out and chillin’. But I’ll have lots to write about when we return home!

I can always be found here at Place Dauphine. People watching is great in this little square. Enjoy a meal; watch the locals play Boule; read a book–it’s always fun!

Most love the Louvre. I get excited about the beauty products found at an inexpensive price at City Pharma on Rue du Four!  I LOVE this attraction store!

Another famous Paris attraction discount shop is Sophie Sacs. I always pick up great bags. And the collection of Nat & Nin bags is epic.

I’ll be sure to stop by the new flagship Nat & Nin boutique too!

Daily exercise is all about walking from the apartment to the Marche St. Germain where I can get my favorite cheese and tend to groceries!

Or I can get some great poultry at any one of the outdoor markets…or even…

beautiful fresh fish. I’m hungry already!

I’ll let the symphonic sounds of cicadas, frogs and the sea lull me to sleep in the South of France.

We enjoy great dinners on the terrace of the apartment in Theoule. It is my version of paradise!

We’ll take a drive to Estagnol and enjoy this little beach….

My flip-flops will even enjoy some fun in the sun!

We’ll also enjoy lazy strolls along the dock at Cannes! I’m telling you. This is a “do nothing” vacation!

It’ll be nice to just sit back, reflect on the first half of the year and just wash all the negativity away. The first half of this year may have been harrowing being jobless and all. But–from the bad comes the good. The good, or rather great thing, was that I was able to start this little blog and try to enjoy a laugh or two at my own imperfections!

It’s even nicer to know I’ve been able to make people laugh through my misadventures! But the nicest thing is knowing that there is a group of people who enjoy my writings and I’ve come to know as my friends! Thank you so much for reading an enjoying this blog. You have NO idea how happy you make me!

We are a little community and growing here in the world of Atypical60!

I’ll be back, and will be chock full of fun adventures! I don’t have a laptop so I can’t blog while I’m away and ATT is charging a fortune for internet access. Figures!

So, looks like everyone will be on vacation from me for a few weeks!

Dayum!! I shudder at the thought of so many people being so happy that they are a vacation from me!  Nya ha ha. Like Arnold–I’ll be back!

Don’t forget about me! Hey, remember that song? Well, here it is!

XOXOXOXOXOXOXOX See you in a few weeks
